The Power of Video in Social Advertising Featuring Boathouse Customs
Facebook video ads receive 10 to 30 percent more views, and populate up to 11 times larger in news feeds. A short and sweet, yet relevant video is more impactful and more memorable. Video is also more likely to be shared—then say an image ad featuring your five top selling bottles of wine. So when asked to develop digital marketing strategy around Boathouse.com’s TC3D online customization capabilities I knew it had to revolve around video. So I teamed up with my video guy from Jofit to develop this 40 second spot explaining the customization process from design to delivery. It lives on our website and social media where it runs as a Facebook ad, and on the Google Display Network as a paid video ad.
